Hi, I’m Mike (Michael Gichia). For more than seven years I’ve designed, shipped, and run production software that helps teams move faster and operate with less risk.

My focus is on building maintainable systems: resilient microservices, backend-to-worker pipelines, scalable cloud deployments on Google Cloud, and observability and CI/CD that keep services healthy in production.

Lately I have been expanding into applied AI and machine learning, learning by building data pipelines, prototyping models, and integrating ML features into real projects. I write hands-on tutorials and project walkthroughs that share practical patterns, code, and operational lessons so other engineers can reuse what I’ve learned.

In addition to my professional work, I run an articles section where I publish practical guides and project writeups.
